I’ve been absent a week! This poor blog doesn’t know what’s going on in the world of ChaCha. In fact, the reason this blog hasn’t been updated in as timely a manner is because there is SO much going on with ChaCha. As usual, things are bustling in the Yellow House (A.K.A. ChaCha HQ).
The main thing we’ve been working on is driving user traffic. While having a lot of traffic visit us is a key factor to our success, there are a few other reasons that make it so important.
Our Search Index: This may not be totally apparent to the public, but one of the coolest things ChaCha does is index every singe result provided by our Guides. Because those results are hand picked by our Guides as being the best resource for answering a user’s question, anytime a future user does a search similar to one already performed they are presented with results that have already screened by a Guide. Extrapolate that over millions and millions of queries and you can see how we’ll eventually boast a MASSIVE index of human-touched resources. We’re basically undertaking the job of organizing the entire internet in real time- that’s a job that no machine can do!
The ChaCha Guide Ecosystem: This whole “Guide” thing we’re doing is pretty revolutionary. When it comes down to it, we’re able to instantly pay people for answering questions about topics they already know about. It doesn’t get any easier than that! The more traffic that comes in, the more Guides we can let into ChaCha, the better the system gets at finding the best Guide possible to answer the question. Part of the brilliance here is that not only can our system scale ad infinitum, but the system actually gets BETTER the more this happens. The more traffic we get, the easier it is for us to wrangle the entire internet. Let’s see an algorithm do THAT!

Once again, we’re going to be featured on Good Morning America. It’s going to be on bright and early tomorrow morning (Monday the 20th), though I do not have an exact time for it yet. This is just one of many heavyweight media outlets that’s going to be covering ChaCha. What can I say? ChaCha is just THAT ridiculously cool. (That’s right, I said it!)

I’m spreading the word! I’ve written letters to every school that my family members attend praising the safety of chacha. I also started two pages/blogs dedicated to chacha. I added all the links, a badge, and the TELL A FRIEND link to my CHACHASPOT. Now everyone that visits my page can tell their contacts with a quick sign in! I have had cashiers ask me about my unique chacha visa. It is the perfect chance to tell them where they should be searching!
I gain more from chacha than just my earnings. I have a renewed sense of self worth. I feel like I should be continuing my education, interests and hobbies! I’ve been putting myself last for so long, I forgot who I was. I’m brilliant (half joking)!
Also, it reassures me that I do have so much to offer the world. I’ve gained many friends just by spreading the word about chacha! How cool is that?! I am so grateful to have received the guide invite. I can never express how much it has already given me. In the end, the money is nothing. I have a small story to tell you of how Cha Cha helped me. Actually my daughter. My 11 yr old daughter was not allowed to bring her Health book home but had questions in the subject to answer. So, I decided I was going to trust ChaCha to help. I went to search with a guide put in a question 3 times. All 3 times the guides found what I needed. It was really great. I just wanted to take a minute and let everyone know what an opportunity that this company has given me. I am a stay at home mom with 3 children. One of my children has a medical condition that requires injections and monitoring 24 hours a day. I don’t feel that I have an opportunity to work outside of the home. And then I saw Good Morning America -(Love it, watch it everyday!) and saw this very unique opportunity! I checked into it the same day and began working a few days later. I needed to stay a “stay at home mom”, but with thease day’s we mom’s have a hard choice to make, to choose between, MONEY, and our KIDS. I want to give a shout out to all those working so diligently behind the scenes in order to constantly make ChaCha even bigger and better than ever! Thank you, thank you, thank you to those responsible for the ground-breaking of a true empire and I can’t wait to see this baby grow, just as if it were my very own. I have a teaching job which gets me home fairly early everyday and of course my summers off. This job is ideal for a second income for me. I noticed my husband was sceptical of this opportunity at first (too good to be true type of thing). Well, not only is he sold on it, he is also helping me spread the ChaCha word. o.k I just saw Tory Johnson talk about everything else but Chacha. Whats up with that? Isnt today the 20th? I woke up with all the enthusiasm and got my kids running out the door to school so I could be online and then……no talk about Chacha…so far and Tory Johnson already aired. Whats up with that?
I love being a ChaCha guide. The extra money is great, but feeling the sense of gratefullness you get from helping someone find something they haven’t been able to find is amazing. I love searching and meeting new people with ChaCha. I’ve been telling everyone I know about ChaCha and I will continue to do so.
This Thanksgiving I am thankful to be part of a positive group of intellectuals at ChaCha.

I owe Good Morning America a huge “thank you”! It’s because of GMA that I am now working at a job I absolutly enjoy doing, for a company I am truly PROUD to say I work for!!! I don’t have the word’s that could possibly express my gratitude to ChaCha for this opportunity.
My husband was also sceptical. He tried to be supportive, but with so many scam’s online he didn’t want me to get my hope’s up. His tune has dramatically changed during the last month. So much so I think he was as excited as I was when I made Pro!!!
And finally, 3 year’s ago a massive brain aneurysm which caused paralysis and the need for 24/7 care for my mother(59 yr.). Followed 4 month’s later by the unexpected death of dad, put my husband and I into a situation we couldn’t possibly have foreseen.
I have gotten so much from ChaCha in such a short amount of time. Most important for my situation is the flexibility..then of course the extra income. But working for ChaCha has been a confidence builder, an education of thing’s I’ve never experienced before, and a workplace filled with some of the most giving people I have ever met!
This is one of those “experience’s” in life you just never forget. Thank you so much ChaCha for giving me the chance to be a part of your family.
I wanted to let you know about a search I had a few weeks ago. An infoseeker wanted to know some information about ziggurats. It took me quite a while to find new information for this person, but I was able to help them find exactly what they needed. If they had used a regular search engine, they would have had to wade through all kinds of commercial sites as well, because it is a name used for many companies. The infoseeker was very happy, because they thought the information i had found for them would help double the word count for their school paper. This was not one of my keywords, but i did my absolute best to find what they needed, and they were very happy.
I also love being a ChaCha guide. I get to meet all kinds of people I would never run across in my normal, every day life. I just recently became a stay at home mom, and this has helped me bring in an income i would not have, other wise.
I am also a stay at home mom of a beautiful little girl (who by the way will be 4 on the 29th). I found Cha Cha off of a forum for work at home listings. I read a little about it the girl on the post sent me an invitation an I have been working for them ever since. I love doing this, I love helping people and most of all I love being at home with my family. Thanks Cha Cha you are the best and I am happy to say I have added you to my family as well and look forward to seeing you grow as times passes. I just want to thank Chacha for the opportunity to be a part of your team. Here is one of the greatest things that Chacha has done for me. I am a full time law student with three grade school age kids so I needed a job I could do from home with tattletaling kids around and Chacha fit that situation perfectly. My husband is a painter and it’s the slow time of the year. My husband missed about a full month’s pay spread out over the past two months. I do have some Shoshone indian check income that covers most of our bills but nothing more. Thanks to Chacha I was able to pay for Christmas for all three of my kids, husband, and extended family. Without Chacha we wouldn’t have really had much of a Christmas this year. So, thanks Chacha for helping make Christmas much happier especially for my children. I am so thankful to Chacha that I even worked on Christmas day. Good news is husband is now back at work.
