Tory Johnson Loves ChaCha

tjohnson.jpg

Many of you probably remember Tory because she’s the lady who introduced you to ChaCha that auspicious morning on Good Morning America. Well just recently she went back on TV and talked about ChaCha. In a segment about home-based jobs, she mentioned us as a great job that you can do from home. You can watch the whole segment by clicking on her picture or clicking right here, but here’s part of what she had to say about us.

ChaCha.com is a brand-new search engine that is very similar to a Yahoo! or Google, except there’s a live person that helps you conduct your search, and that live person is sitting at their home in front of their computers, so ChaCha.com a great resource earning between five and $10 an hour.

Tory also has a couple of great books about work-at-home jobs and careers in general. Go check them out right here. Books By Tory Johnson

University of Michigan Loves ChaCha

The Michigan Daily did a story on ChaCha called “Site could help boost your income, research or both” that does a great job of covering both the Guide and Infoseeker sides of ChaCha. It wasn’t too long ago that I was in college and I wish ChaCha was around when I was there. I mean, I had to do all of the work myself because I couldn’t afford to pay kids to do it for me help me with it. If I had ChaCha I could have had Guides help me with my research papers. If I was a Guide I could have paid people to do help me with my homework.

You heard it here college kids: ChaCha will rock your term paper and/or make you beer money.

Indiana Techpoint Summit

In slightly unrelated ChaCha news, Scott Jones, ChaCha’s CEO spoke at Indiana’s Techpoint Summit about the progress Indiana has made in various business initiatives and in its private sector as a whole. Go here to read all about it and even hear Scott talk about it!

Hi–I remember that segment on GMA. I was one of the viewers that saw it and went right to my computer and logged in. It took about a week and lots of checking but I got an invite. Now I am a Master and looking forward to a career in Cha Cha. It has been a wonderful experience!!

  3. Hi. I was one of the unfortunate people that didn’t get to watch the GMA show. Not much into TV. So another incentive is to get to those that do not watch (or can not watch) TV. Spread the word via the internet, message boards, bulletin boards, emails (without spamming of course), friends, family, neighbors, doctors, churches! I was lucky that I met someone on my message board that sent me an invitation! I love working for ChaCha.com it is a great and wonderful experience! Let’s get the word out!

Hi. I did get to see Tory on GMA. Usually not a GMA viewer but that particular morning, I was. And I felt like Tory was talking to me. I appreciated the in depth information she gave about chacha and how it was in an experimental stage and glitches could be expected. I knew there were no false pretenses about it and as soon as I could which was unfortunately about a week and a half, two weeks later, I got on board. Thanks again Justin K for hooking me up and Danielle for being my sponsor. I am loving it and cannot wait to replace my day job with it. I have anxiety attacks and dealing with the public face to face is becoming quite a struggle for me most days. Chacha is going to help me through this and I am so happy to be a part of it. Want to remain a part for a good long time. So very grateful. GO CHACHA GO.

  5. Hey Justin! So glad you keep this updated with news and info! I love it! I’ve been working with ChaCha since the beginning of October and I love it! Its so much fun and it keeps me busy, wll while I’m making some extra dough! And I can’t wait for the ChaCha store to open so I can buy a shirt! Do we have an updated time of when it should open??

    Thanks love!

I’m so grateful to GMA for having ChaCha featured that morning. This is so right up my alley. I went to the website before the piece was done and was slightly skeptical so I hesitated for just a few minutes… BIG MISTAKE! The site got SO busy, we all know why!

As soon as I got the invitation I was off like a shot and I’ve never looked back. I love this opportunity and look forward to introducing it to many friends and family as we get to the higher phases of this GREAT experience!

I don’t have a TV right now, but here’s a tip for all those who don’t have a TV and want to get the word out about ChaCha. “Good Morning America” archives most of their stuff on their website — that was how I was able to watch the GMA spot that Tory did.

    Go here:
    http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/story?id=2516129&page=1

and click on the “Video - Click to Watch” button to watch the spot.

I don’t work for ABC or anything but I have to say that if it weren’t for their video clips on their site, I wouldn’t be able to watch anything. I also get to keep up with “Grey’s Anatomy”, “LOST” and “Ugly Betty” since I can watch entire episodes of them immediately after they are broadcast :)
